These are two vases I made to match one another. One is smaller than the other just because, to me, it is more appealing that way. I dipped them in dark cobalt, Sydney blue and regular cobalt blue and even some white. I loved the way that they turned out. These were made by accident while attempting to make a bowl so I just went with it but I ADORE the outcome. I was mostly focusing on shape while creating these project.
These are my set of three projects. I chose to make a pitcher, a bowl, and a platter to all go together. I Then decided to glaze these projects with a black "bubble glaze" to give it a marble look and really make it contrast but also almost coexist together. The pattern is something different but also makes it seem as if the project is one piece all together which is what I was really going for. I love how these projects turned out and I feel as if I learned a major skill of making them all seem alike and work together.
