This is another extra credit project I made, purly out of fun. This project is about eight inches tall and six inches wide. Again, I was so excited to be making this project and pushing my limits and mess around with design. It was so much fun and very easy to accomplish this marbled look, I did manly focused on design on the outer surface of this bowl. I loved wedging the clays together and this is probably my favorite out of my marbled wheel projects. I got the idea from watching lots and lots of ceramic videos on youtube and people in my class last year. I loved this year and I am so happy I could grow and learn in cermics. I can't wait for next semester.

This was one of my first marble mix projects. Our project is about five inches tall and seven inches wide. I was so excited to be taking a risk and learning how to make this project, it was very easy to make actually. It was so much fun wedging these two clays together, I was worried the red clay would over power the sea mix but it worked out splendidly. I mainly focused on design on the outer surface of the project. I am very proud of how it turned out, I wasnt expecting the marble affect to be that profound. It really did teach me how to not give up and use my imagination to creat bigger and better things.
This is an extra credit project I decided to make. This project is about seven inches tall and four inches wide. I was so excited to make this project and mess around with different types of clay. It was so much fun and turned out as beautiful as I envisioned it. I mainly focused on design on the outer surface of the project. I am very proud of how it turned out, I love using different clays to make them both stand out. I ended up attaching the clays together the same days simply because I had alot to do and was not in the mood to attach it later, but it turned out great and I am extremely proud of it and myself.
This was our group frankenpot project! Our project is about seven inches tall and four inches wide. I was so excited to be leading my team in this project. It was so much fun and we all worked together to make this lovely project. We manly focused on design on the outer surface of the project. We weren't too concerned on how it would turn out because we just wanted to have fun with it. I am very proud of how it turned out though. Regardless it really taught us how to work as a team and I feel like we should do more group projects.
This is my first closed project ever. It is about four inches tall and four inches wide. I wanted it to be a wax melt for candle. I am very proud of how this project turned out and it works very nicely. I learned how to pull up the wall taller and shape it more the way I wanted it to be and close it. The main art element I focused on was for sure shape. It was hard closing the project without it collapsing in but I figured it out and it works perfectly! I don't like how the glaze became patchy but it also makes it more unique.
This is first tall project I have ever made. It is about ten inches tall and six inches wide. I wanted it to be more intricate than my other projects so I did three separate wheel project and then attached them together. I feel like its as good as or maybe even better than my other projects with a taller and different shape than the others. I chose to shape it like a Ancient Grecian pitcher, during this I learned how to pull up the wall taller, shape it more the way I wanted it to be, and better attach multiple projects together. The main art element I focused on was for sure shape. Like I said before I wanted it to look like a pitcher, so I shaped it that way. Then to make it stand out I used black glaze to accent the carvings.
This is my fifth wheel bowl this year. It is about four inches tall and six inches wide. I wanted it to be more simple than my other projects so I did two separate colors to contrast the other. I feel like its as good as my other projects with a slight taller and different shape than the others. I learned how to pull up the wall taller and shape it more the way I wanted it to be. The main art element I focused on was for sure shape. I wanted it to look a little different than a typical bowl and I wanted to do something a little different with the colors so they both made each other stand out and so it would look bright and simple.
This is my first group this year. It is about 5 inches tall and four inches wide. We wanted some design in it so I decided to add letters on the side since he is an English teacher. I hadn't made a coil project since last school year so it was weird to do again but not too difficult. I feel as if the pencil handle was the most difficult part. I learned more so the idea of shaping it so it was more of a cup than a weird design like i've done in the past. The main art element we focused on was for sure shape and outlining the letters on the cup. I wanted it to look a little different than a typical cup and I wanted to do something a little different with the colors so they both made each other stand out.
