The only reason i'm writing this is because I don't want my "Home Page" to be blank. I am a 16 year old junior at Mount Si High School, who loves art, reading, writing (books, poetry, essay's anything except ceramics paragraphs sorry Ann<3), and I especially love being an aunt. I am a very shy person in general, but what I wanted most out of this paragraph (even though nobody will actually see it) is to give my piece of High School advice to the void that is the internet.
-It's just High School, and I understand grades are stressful and they are important, but they are not the only thing. They do not define you as a person or who you are and will become. A letter in a grade book is not the definition of your worth as a human being. -Your mental health is overall the most important. No matter what teachers, counselors or parents say. How you are emotionally is more important than the outcome of one test, do not push yourself to the absolute breaking point of no return over a silly biology quiz. -Your mental health itself does not define you, the mental disabilities or illnesses can not stop you from being who you are, which is why I have grown to love ceramics so much. No matter what state you are in, how ugly you feel or your life has become, you can make something beautiful in a world full of ugly. Smile, breathe, and make art.
